President Ruto Lead Kakamega Investment Conference

President William Ruto spearheaded the Kakamega Investment Conference, joined by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa, H.E. Abdi Ibrahim Hassan, EGH and Senator Boni Khalwale. The four-day forum, themed ‘Opening up Counties as the New Frontiers for Investment and Development,’ commenced with high spirits and a shared vision for economic advancement.

In a remarkable display of inter-county cooperation, H.E. Abdi Ibrahim Hassan, EGH, joined President Ruto at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in Kakamega County for the inaugural event. Notably, H.E. Abdi Guyo extended a warm invitation to potential investors in Isiolo County, emphasizing the positive impact of collaboration between the county leadership and the national government.

The conference serves as a pivotal platform to showcase Kakamega’s immense investment potential, with Governor Fernandes Barasa leading efforts to attract investors across various sectors. Furthermore, the event witnessed collaborative discussions aimed at fostering strategic partnerships and signing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to drive economic growth and prosperity.
